I'm nearly 40 and I'm proud of the way I've lived my life. I proud of my achievements..even the small ones. I make the most of everything and see potential in most things. I love to get in my car and just go...book a ticket on a random thought and fly away. I also love to sit on my couch with my children on either side of me and let myself drown in their love. I love to watch a rooftop movie on a hot summers night or cuddle up on the couch and watch some dvd's but there's something missing...and that's the strong arms of a man wrapped around me and the smell of his scent. I miss that.

What I've learned from my experience with HIV?
hiv has taught me that it only takes one mistake. It has taught me to appreciate intimacy because it's gone and I miss is terribly. I'm still learning..it's only been 2 months and I'm still grappling with it. I'll get there...I refuse to give in to anything negative and that's why I'm positive.
