After moving here in 2001, I decided my early mid-life crisis was over. I went to Nursing school and got my ADN, BSN, MSN, and MBA. Outside of healthcare, I do some work with gymnastics. I am currently a Nationally-rated judge and have traveled all over the country for judging. I have even judged some of the people that you see on TV β my claim-to-fame! Part of my growing process and becoming the βnewβ me is communication. I have let that go in the past few relationships, and the relationship has suffered. I think that talking is the most important part of a friendship relationship, but that does NOT mean that is all I want to do! I have many straight friends (true friends), but really do not know anyone who is gay that I talk to on a regular basis. I think that is the main reason why I wanted to put something on this website. Also, I hate talking about myself to people that I do not know. But, I am very open to answering any questions that you might have. I'm not sure what I'm looking for, but I do know that there has to be a friendship before a relationship. I'm not looking for a one-night stand. I know that he can't be afraid to talk about (and show) what he feels emotionally. I would like to believe in the fairy tale, but something tells me that it does not exist. Though I don't date casually (serial monogamist????), I'm not looking to live with my future someone tomorrow or get married next week. I am very happy living by myself, but do hope that someday our lives will become intertwined. I love spending time at home, cuddling on the couch, watching a suspenseful movie, going out to a nice dinner, and enjoying the sights. I love staying up 'till the wee hours of the morning talking about everything - solving the world's problem while accomplishing nothing at all. I am not picky about who you have to be β eye color, height, income, education, etc. I think the talking and chemistry will let me (and us) know if the friendship relationship is going to go anywhere.
